Andres Tremols (Cuba/ USA)

"Made in Santiago de Cuba" - born in Washington, DC, in 1960. Tremols spent his childhood and adolescence in Central and South America and currently resides in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. He received a Bachelor or Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University with continued experimental studies at the Corcoran School of Art and Design and Meltdown Glass School in Washington, DC.

Commitment to his Cuban heritage and insights from overseas travel are passionately embodied in his paintings and glass sculptures. The driving force of his work is to raise public awareness of sociopolitical and ecological issues.His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is collected in Europe, North, Central and South America.
